At Spark Athletics, our tumbling and cheer classes help athletes build strength, coordination and confidence through clear progressions and supportive coaching. Each class is designed to develop strong fundamentals while giving kids a positive space to stay active, learn new skills and celebrate their growth. Whether your athlete is just starting out or ready for more advanced training, our program offers a smooth path forward at every level.

Recreational Class Options

SPARKLERS CHEER & TUMBLING

TK-1st Grade
Athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including jumps, motions, tumbling, and introductory stunts, in a fun and supportive environment. This program focuses on building strong basics while encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive communication. Along the way, athletes develop lasting friendships, a sense of belonging, and a love for cheer as they grow both on and off the mat.

VOLTAGE CHEER & TUMBLING

2nd-5th Grade
Athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including jumps, motions, tumbling, and introductory stunts, in a fun and supportive environment. This program focuses on building strong basics while encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive communication. Along the way, athletes develop lasting friendships, a sense of belonging, and a love for cheer as they grow both on and off the mat.

LIGHTNING CHEER & TUMBING

5th-8th Grade
Athletes will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including jumps, motions, tumbling, and introductory stunts, in a fun and supportive environment. This program focuses on building strong basics while encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive communication. Along the way, athletes develop lasting friendships, a sense of belonging, and a love for cheer as they grow both on and off the mat.

NOVICE TUMBLING

Best for beginners learning:
• Forward and backward rolls
• Cartwheels
• Handstands
• Bridges
Focuses on confidence, coordination, and building a strong tumbling foundation in a supportive and encouraging environment.

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING

Best for athletes who can confidently cartwheel and handstand and are ready to learn:
• Roundoffs
• Back walkovers
• Front walkovers
• Stronger shapes, control, and power
This class bridges fundamentals into bigger tumbling skills through structured drills and progressive training.

ADVANCED TUMBLING

Best for athletes with solid roundoffs and walkovers, ready to work on:
• Back handsprings
• Connected handsprings
• Tucks and power tumbling
• Strong technique and body control
A fast-paced class focused on advancing tumbling skills with power, confidence, and precision.
